چکیده

Esophageal cancer (ESCA) is one of the highest lethal malignancy tumors worldwide. Baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 3 (BIRC3) main inhibitor apoptosis in many malignancies. The aim this study was to clarify how BIRC3 acts ESCA cells. Through TNMplot and GEPIA2 analysis, found abundantly expressed quantitative RT-PCR assay confirmed pronouncedly induced all used cell lines. In addition, proinflammatory cytokines TNFα IL-1β were shown have promotion effects on expression These promotive blocked when function NF-κB inhibited by bay 11-7082, which indicates gene regulated via transcription pathway ESCA. Moreover, bioinformatics analysis showed that had binding cis-elements. Chromatin immunoprecipitation then performed it directly interacts with cis-elements gene. conclusion, our data proved high level maintained survival up-regulated cytokine through signaling pathway, may be helpful for esophageal prevention therapy.

The dual function cytokine IL-33 interacts with the transcription factor NF-κB to dampen NF-κB-stimulated gene transcription.

Full-length IL-33 is a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines, which can act in an autocrine or paracrine manner by binding to the IL-33R on several different target cell types. In addition, IL-33 can act in an intracrine fashion by translocating to the nucleus, where it binds to the chromatin and modulates gene expression. In this article, we report that full-length IL-33, but not mature IL-33...

The Role of Cyclooxygenase-2 in Signaling Pathways Promoting Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world. Various factors are involved in the development and progression of this disease. One of these agents is cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). COX-2 is a product of the PTGS2 gene and converts free arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. COX-2 is not naturally expressed in most normal cells. Noticeably, the increased expression of COX-2 has been ...

Transcriptional Control of Synaptic Plasticity by Transcription Factor NF-κB

Activation of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) transcription factors is required for the induction of synaptic plasticity and memory formation. All components of this signaling pathway are localized at synapses, and transcriptionally active NF-κB dimers move to the nucleus to translate synaptic signals into altered gene expression. Neuron-specific inhibition results in altered connectivity of exc...
